Stefanie Powers rose to prominence for playing Jennifer Hart in the TV series Hart to Hart, which aired from 1979 to 1984. It was one of the most successful TV programs at the time. She earned several acting award nominations for the role, including five Golden Globe Awards and two Emmy Awards for Best Actress in a TV series. She was also awarded the “Sarah Siddons Award” for her exceptional stage performance in Love Letters in 1993.

In 2008, Powers was diagnosed with Alveolar Carcinoma, a form of lung cancer. Because of this, she had surgery to remove the part of her lung that was affected. She still works in Hollywood and appeared in the 2020 film, The Artist’s Wife — she played a conceptual artist. This is said to be her last film appearance. At 79 years old, there’s no stopping Stefanie Powers from her love and passion for acting. The investments she’s made in her craft are truly remarkable and very inspiring.
