NANCY SINATRA | 81

Nancy Sinatra’s name surely rings a bell. She is the daughter of the legendary singer Frank Sinatra to Nancy Barbato Sinatra Sr. Just like her father, she followed in his footsteps to make a name in the music world. She is also an outstanding actress, and she had a spot on some films and TV shows. However, she is widely known for her 1966 hit song These Boots Are Made for Walkin, which also became her signature tune.
Nancy tried to get a degree in music, dancing, and voice studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. But she dropped out after a year.

Instead, she focused on her career and debuted on her father’s television special, The Frank Sinatra Timex Show: Welcome Home Elvis, in 1960. At the time, they welcomed the King of Rock and Roll’s return from Europe after completing his service in the U.S. Army. No news about Nancy today, but her work can still be heard on different shows. We hope that she will go back to the stage and still do her thing.
