Cyndi Lauper & David Thornton – 29 Years

Her signature song might be Girls Just Want to Have Fun, but famous singer Cyndi Lauper decided to settle down and married actor David Thornton in 1991. They have a son born six years after they wed. Since then, the two have been madly in love with each other and are now celebrating 29 years of marriage. “All I can say is that he is my best friend,” Cyndi shared in an interview. She also added, “We’re a couple that’s trying to raise a kid and trying to still be together.”

In recent years, Cyndi continues to perform on music tours, although sporadically. She has collaborated with other artists like Cher, Blondie, Rod Stewart, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and more. Now 67 years old, we just hope she has acquired some insurance so she can be fully prepared once she retires.
