Lynda Carter & Robert Altman – 37 Years

The original Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter, has been happily married to attorney and businessman Robert Altman for 37 years. They were married in January 1984 and have two children, James and Jessica. Their children followed Altman’s footsteps and are now work in the field of law as well. Like her mother, Jessica is also an aspiring singer, and according to her Carter’s website, the mother-daughter collaborated on a song included in Jessica’s solo debut EP, No Rules.

Like any other, their relationship had troubling times, but they know how to help each other overcome their difficulties. Lynda dealt with alcoholism, and she credits her husband for helping her battle through it. Serious problems or otherwise, she says that her husband makes her laugh all the time whenever she gets into her minutia. Altman’s sense of humor is just one of the factors that make their relationship work.
